Why is it that you know what to do, but still don't do it?

1:1 accountability coaching for self-employed professionals with a project that needs to start, or finish.

You're not lazy. You're not broken. You're just missing something you used to have.

You already know what needs to happen — the proposal, the website, the business idea you've had for two years. You could explain it in detail to someone else. And yet, weeks pass. Months pass. The plan is still just a plan.

That's not a motivation problem. It's a structure problem — and it has a specific, fixable cause.

The years I made the most progress, someone was checking

When I was a kid, I had accountability coaches everywhere — I just didn't call them that. A music teacher. A sports coach. Teachers who collected homework every week. None of them did the work for me. They just expected something from me, on a schedule.

Then adulthood happened. The check-ins disappeared. And the projects that mattered most to me — the ones with no boss, no deadline, no one waiting — were exactly the ones that stalled.

I built The Finnisher Coach because I know this gap from the inside — and I know exactly what closes it.

The real cost was never the coach

Most people weigh the price of coaching against zero — as if not hiring anyone costs nothing. It doesn't. The cost of a stalled project is just invisible, because nobody sends you an invoice for the thing you never finished.

The examples below are illustrations to help you think about your own number — not promises or guarantees. Your outcome depends entirely on your own project, market and effort.

The business plan that stays a plan

Say the business you've been meaning to start would realistically bring in $10,000 a month once it's actually running — not once, but every month, because it's a real business now instead of an idea in your head. Every month it stays unstarted is a month of that income that simply doesn't exist. A few months of coaching to finally launch it is a small fraction of just one month of that ongoing revenue.

The proposal that sat unsent

A consultant has a $15,000 contract sitting half-written for two months. It's not that the client said no — the proposal never went out. That single stalled document is worth more than most people spend on a full year of accountability support.

The course or product that never launched

A course that's been "almost ready" for a year, generating even a modest $2,000 a month once it's live, is $2,000 a month currently going to nobody — every single month it stays unfinished.

You don't need my numbers. Do your own version of this math for the specific project you're sitting on — that number is the one that matters.

Why this isn't priced to be cheap

This isn't priced to be an easy yes — on purpose.

A big part of what makes accountability actually work is that you've put something real on the line. A token price doesn't function as a commitment device; it's easy to shrug off, and shrugging off commitments is the exact pattern we're here to break. The price is part of the mechanism, not just a fee for my time.

That also means this isn't for everyone, and it isn't meant to be. It's for people who've already done the math above and concluded that finishing this particular project is worth considerably more to them than the price of getting it done.

Who this is for

Adults — often in their 30s, 40s and beyond — with real working years still ahead of them, who have something they want or need to start or finish.

Self-employed, no one checking

You don't have a boss. The work that grows your business the most is exactly the work with no external deadline.

Capable, not confused

You're not missing information. You've built things before. What's missing is the structure that used to carry you.

Starting something new

A pivot, a business idea, a project you've delayed for years — something you're finally ready to move on.

Tried it alone already

To-do lists, apps, reminders — you've tried the self-driven route. It's not that it failed you; it's just not how you're wired.

Who this is probably not for

If you're self-driven and finish things fine on your own, save your money — you don't need this. And if you're not ready to actually put in the work between calls, a weekly check-in won't fix that; this only works if you're willing to show up.

A small number of clients, on purpose

I work with a small number of people at a time. This is 1:1, not a group program, and I'd rather keep it that way than spread myself thin enough that check-ins start feeling generic.

Because each program runs just 1–2 months, openings come up regularly — this isn't a permanently closed door, just a genuinely limited one at any given moment. Message me and I'll tell you honestly whether I have room this month.

A few questions

Why is this priced the way it is?

Because a price that's easy to ignore doesn't function as a commitment. The price is part of what makes the accountability real — and it's still a small fraction of what most stalled projects are actually costing you.

What if I don't finish the project in the 1–2 months?

Most projects fit this window once there's a weekly structure behind them. If more time is genuinely needed, we'll talk about extending — there's no penalty for being honest about where things stand.

Is this therapy or business coaching?

Neither. It's accountability — a consistent structure that helps you do the work you already know how to do, on the project you choose.

What do I need to bring to the first call?

Just the project you want to finally move on, and a rough sense of what "done" looks like. We'll shape the plan together from there.
